Meet the Center for Disaster Healing Resources Interns
Yifeng Liang
Yifeng Liang recently completed her Master of Public Health in Epidemiology at New York University. During her graduate studies, she focused on using real-world data to better understand patient needs and improve health outcomes. Through her work, she developed strong skills in data analysis and collaboration across different disciplines.
She is currently interning at the Center for Disaster Healing Resources, where she contributes to projects on global mental health and disaster recovery. Her work involves reviewing literature and summarizing evidence to help make mental health resources more accessible and relevant for various communities and groups.
Outside of work, Yifeng enjoys traveling on her own, making pour-over coffee, and spending time with community-based organizations. She is passionate about learning how people live and work in different parts of the world, and is also interested in learning how public health can support equity across cultures.
Anokhi is a Master of Public Health student at Stony Brook University, with a concentration in Epidemiology and Biostatistics. She is currently serving as the Social Media Intern at the Center for Disaster Healing Resources, where she supports the development and launch of digital content that promotes global disaster mental health and healing resources. In this role, Anokhi helps amplify evidence-based tools, engage online communities, and increase the visibility of culturally responsive resources for individuals and communities worldwide.
Anokhi is a multimedia artist outside of her public health work. She is primarily a dancer and videographer, but appreciates fine art, writing, music, and other art forms. She is passionate about promoting health and wellness through creative storytelling to make public health messages more meaningful, accessible, and engaging.
