Meet the Center for Disaster Healing Resources Interns

Yifeng Liang
Yifeng Liang recently completed her Master of Public Health in Epidemiology at New York University. During her graduate studies, she focused on using real-world data to better understand patient needs and improve health outcomes. Through her work, she developed strong skills in data analysis and collaboration across different disciplines.
She is currently interning at the Center for Disaster Healing Resources, where she contributes to projects on global mental health and disaster recovery. Her work involves reviewing literature and summarizing evidence to help make mental health resources more accessible and relevant for various communities and groups.
Outside of work, Yifeng enjoys traveling on her own, making pour-over coffee, and spending time with community-based organizations. She is passionate about learning how people live and work in different parts of the world, and is also interested in learning how public health can support equity across cultures.
